Hen abandoned 3 day old chick

Our broody hen hatched at least 3 eggs 3-4 days ago. Last night momma moved to a nesting box without straw. This morning my kids found a chick “dead” in that box and momma and the others were next door in the original box. I picked her up to bury her to discover while cold, she was alive. I put her in my bra and brought her inside. I’ve given her some water with a tiny bit of molasses through a pipette. She’s peeking up a tiny bit...some movement and a peep or two.

I would put the chick back under the mom hen.
It probably could no get over to the other nest and got to cold.
Make sure your hen has an appropriate place to care for her chicks. Not situated to high or hard for chicks to access.
