Hen abandoned eggs

Our hen stopped laying on eggs - it’s around the 20 day period now - we have had 2 surviving and lost 4 and have 12 remaining. I kept checking all day to see if she would get back on eggs and at the end of the day- I removed eggs and have under a heat lamp - temp is steady at 100f - I do not have an incubator- is this ok ?

How hot is it there? She might not have abandoned them if it’s hot. On the last day or two if it’s very hot my broodies will stay off of the nest longer. This last one staid off of her nest for the full day 20. It wasn’t until the next morning that when I went to let them out she was back on her nest and the chicks hatched just fine.

Temperature is around 90f here lat couple of days- we have had rain showers - should I rerun them back to the nest?

She might not sit now that they have been removed, but 90F is hot enough to cause a hen to stay off of the nest all day.
