Last year I bought two EEs that I thought were about 10 months old. Later I found out that one was closer to two years. Now she is 2 1/2 to 3 years old. Monday she made her a nest in the chicken yard & will only leave it to eat & drink. Yesterday she laid a egg. She got off her nest & laid the egg a couple feet away & went back to the nest. When I collected the egg she didn't seem to care about the egg. She just wanted to know if I brought the treats. I have checked her out & can't find anything wrong. Vent looks good, poop normal. With me only having chickens for about a year I'm not sure if I should be worried? Any ideas about what may be going on with her?
