Hen acting like rooster

I separated her and she did lay an egg. So, definently a hen. I'm just baffled at what was coming out of her vent. Maybe it was a prolapse? Next time I see her mounting another hen, I'll have to pull her off and see if it happens again. I also think it would be weird she would be high up in the pecking order considering I assume she is getting picked on. She looks terrible.. Although, the hen she always mounts could be lower than her i guess. I'm waiting for butterfly saddles to come in the mail. Than, hopefully she will look better

Every time my hen mounts another hen, this round ball of something comes out of her vent. Nobody has ever seen this? Really! I know she's a hen, cuz I've see her lay eggs. Anyone?
