My welsummer chicken 18 weeks old has been acting different.i am not sure on her weight. I don’t think she feels lighter than the others. I notice she lays down a lot and walks kind of uncoordinated or wobbly. She still eats and drinks water. She gets up and forages a little but definitely lays down a lot. She even came out and ate watermelon I gave everyone. She has been like this for 3 days that I have noticed. No symptoms in other birds. No sign of broken bones trauma or bleeding. No injury that I can tell. I have no idea what could have caused the situation. She’s had watermelon and mealworms and normal layer feed. Also other scraps sometimes if I know it’s safe for them. She has drank water. Poop from her was mostly solid a bit runny. I do notice a couple birds get runny poo here and there. Brown or orange color. I just watched one take a really runny one. Notmally poops have been okay. Solid. She has not started laying eggs. She has been panting here and there. I’ve checked for mites and lice. I checked her crop and belly. I checked for bumble foot. I also soaked her in warm water and epson salt last night thinking maybe her first egg is stuck? She did poop a lot after the soak but no egg and this morning she is still laying down. I also noticed my rooster was messing with her a bit. He’s a silkie and only a couple weeks older. I’d like to treat this myself as I can’t afford to take my bird to a vet. They have 2 coops, 6 birds, 1 silkie rooster the rest hens one of them being a silkie also and a big run around it, they get to free roam in my yard everyday when I let them out. I’m always supervising when they do free roam. I use pine shavings for bedding.

Vitamin deficiency can cause lack of coordination and wobbliness, you could try adding chicken electrolytes + vitamins for several days to see if she improves. In my area it's a brand called Sav-a-Chick.
Okay Thank you. Until then can I give tuna or something to try to help? My husband has long work days so I won’t be able to get anything for a bit. She’s still just laying down. Sometimes sleeps eyes closed on and off. I’ll get photos of her in a second

If you have herbs and spices, they help.
I had a hen do something similar after I first got them.
Basil & cinnamon are analgesic and antiseptic
Oregano is antibiotic.
1 tspn of each a day in layer mash. Add grit to help digest it faster. Also if you have kefir or unsweetened natural yoghurt, I used about 2 tablespoons slightly watery, she'll drink it.

My budget doesn't always allow me to buy the stuff designed to aid them so I've learnt the fastest way I can afford.

I never bought herbs or spices in my life until I got chickens :)
