One of my Barred Rocks was attacked by a dog, through the fence, luckily; but her beak was chewed so badly she can't eat or drink. Is there anything we can do? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not certain. But, I know that you need to make sure that she doesn't aspirate. I think you would feed her food that is wetted with water. Probably for now just making sure she is drinking and maybe getting some electrolytes in. Keep her warm as she is probably in shock. I'm sure others will pipe in soon!

My husband is going to send a pic ASAP. We're not going to kill her.... or cull her. I can bring her in and keep her warm and try to hand feed her. Any more hopeful advice would be appreciated.

I know someone but I can’t remember who it was, that had her hen attacked by a dog. Most of her beak was taken off, but she survived and now eats almost perfectly normal last I heard.
Use neosporin with painkiller to help prevent infection and help her to eat. Wet feed is easier to scoop up. Wet a small amount of food and keep it moist. Change it out daily to prevent growth of bacteria.
Hope she recovers quickly!
