One of my RIR hens was found in the rain today, hung up on a hotwire, it was about less than a foot off the ground, and she was soaked through. Shes been in the house near a heater, is warm and dry, gave her some liquid vitamins, but seems wobbly, and holds the one wing low. Its still has the same muscle tension as the other wing, but she seems unbalanced and just sits. Im wondering if the electricity did nerve damage???? Its new hotwire put up to keep the dogs out of the pasture, and she escaped from the coop this morning.

if she was hanging off of the ground, then she wasn't being shocked the whole time, I suspect the damage is more from the stress of hanging
