Hen closing eyes

This olive egger just started getting a red comb. She’s been standing, eyes shut. She normally doesn’t let me grab her. She’s inside now still standing with her eyes closed in the bath. Not sour crop. No mites. Not egg bound. She’s never laid and egg yet but I assume we’re close. I’ve given my flock corrid in the past few months and then replaced B vitamins so I don’t feel as thought it’s cocci?

I’m giving her an egg, water with electrolytes. I made her drink some water by dipping her beak in. I gave her some egg yolk by also dipping her beak but she has little to no interest.

Her poop is more urine like not solid.

It’s not been hot, 80s at the most. Not raining. No one else acting weird.

When I grab her, her body still reacts and neck moves around like she’s looking around as I hold her but her eyes are fully closed. She’s still reactive while eyes closed, is the best way I can describe it.

When she opens her eyes she’s her same spunky self, doesn’t want me to touch her and alert. But then she quickly shuts her eyes. She is not puffed up. She’s just standing and has her eyes shut.

I’m not sure what to do. I’ve lost 3 hens this year and I do not want to lose another. I’m not sure what’s going on. She’s about 20 weeks or so.

If she's close to coming into lay, then I'd give her Extra Calcium to see if she's able to expel an egg.

Give 1 Calcium Citrate+D3 tablet now, then once daily for another 3-5days. Just pull down on the wattles, pop the tablet into the beak and let her swallow. Yes, I do know the tablets look big, your pullet can swallow it.

Work on hydration, give her some sugar water to see if she perks up. See that her crop is emptying overnight and when you check her, make note if she has any parasites.

I’m sorry to hear that’s happening to your hen. Have you tried giving her wet chicken food? It could be easier for her to eat when she has her eyes closed. Also how does she react if she’s in the shade or somewhere with little light?
