Hen Holsters?

My 7 y.o. daughter is dead set on walking her favorite chicken around on a hen holster

do chickens really "walk" on a leash as if they were a dog, or what? something tells me the leash won't work.....

I don't know about chickens, but I've leash trained a fair amount of parrots. The biggest problem I ran into was that most of the harness/leash designs were bulky and awkward, making them uncomfortable for the bird. Some of the newer ones designed like a shirt look promising though.
