hen laying eggs around the yard

my 24 week old EE just layed her first egg on sunday! problem is she laid it in the garden, then today in the compost pile! when she was getting ready in the compost pile today i picked her up and put her in her nest box, but she refused to stay there. any suggestions?

I'd lock her up in the coop for a couple days so she learns where to lay, also I'd put some fake eggs in the nesting boxes.

I think freezer camp perhaps would be a good option. Thanks for the advice!
