Hen laying like crazy !

I have a cochin hen and she has went the past 3 days without laying an egg....went to feed this morning and there were still no egg...so a little bit ago i heard the most weirdest noise and i went down to check thing's out and there were 2 eggs in her nest...oh and she is the only one laying right now...other's are babies and not even close to laying....but i gathered the eggs and they were still warm(both eggs) we any ways i came back in and i heard the same sound and i went back down there and she is painting and making an awful sound again and ran to her nest box....can hen's lay 3 eggs in one day ?

I've never had a chicken do that, but I would say it's possible. I heard a story one time about someone cracking an egg and there was an egg inside the egg.

yes i know and i just got back from down there and there was another egg ! so thats 3 eggs today.......and if she lay's like that everyday that would be pretty cool ! lol
and the egg in the egg thing i have heard that also and last year my mom hatched some eggs and one was a double yolker and there where 2 chick's inside and they were identical pullet's and in the same sack !
