Hen left eggs

My hen is laying on 16 eggs. She's been sitting since Monday. She's been on them always. When I went to bed she was on them but when I checked her this morning she was sitting in another box. I have no idea how long she was off but they were cold. I put her back on and she's stayed all day. Will her eggs be ok?

They may be okay, are you experiencing warm weather.? Some hens get a little goofy like that, especially if they are first time broodies. If you could fence her in, so she can't wander off and end on the wrong nest, it might work out. You may want to candle the eggs in a few days,to see if they are viable? That's a lot of eggs, if she can't keep them covered with her body - maybe you can cull some after candling. Hope you end up with a good hatch.
