Hen Leg Injury

One of our young black sex link hens was hung up and inevitably suspended by one leg by our wire fencing for a short time.
Since then, her leg drags behind her and is unable to move.
Her hip doesn't seem dislocated and no broken bones that I can feel during inspection.
She also doesn't complain much when I inspect the area and get zero muscle response when doing so.
Any advice is welcomed!

Do you have a vet who could see her? The leg really looks twisted in the picture. If you hold her upright, does the leg dangle straight? Here is a thread someone else posted today about their hen’s nerve injury and they kept her in a sling, and she improved eventually. Here is the thread:

Thank you!
Local vets are at a premium these days and usually won't deal with issues involving chickens in our neck of the woods.
Will be looking into the links you passed along but thinking she damaged the nerves as you suggested.
Thank you so much for the feedback!

Good luck! Sorry I wasn’t much help, I don’t have much experience with nerve of tendon damage in chickens. I hope she gets well soon! 🩷

Well, good news!
Our injured hen is back up on her own as of Sunday.
Was tending to one of our older ewes this afternoon, chickens in tow and she laid her first egg in weeks by our feeders.
Thank you all for the support and suggestions, really appreciate everyone here!
