I am sorry to be reposting this again, but I feel like i missed out a lot of details in the previous post and I need desperate help!!!

My hen is about 4 - 5 yrs old. She fell from the stairs last week. It was from a very small height though. She was in pain for a bit but afterwards she was okay. She was behaving normally eating and playing around. There was no sign of visible injuries.

But since last 4 days, she seemed to be listless and lethargic, she also did not show much interest to her everyday food. So I changed her diet and she seemed to eat a bit. She also seemed to be limping and losing balance. When I held her she kept breathing from her mouth.

Today she drank a lot of water and liquid like substance was leaking out of her mouth, she didnt eat her food too. She keeps sitting all the time and struggling to stand.

Ps: she has not laid eggs all her life.

What do you think is her problem? Is it bumblefoot, marek's disease, some internal injury or something else? How do I treat her?

I can't see any sign of bumblefoot. Have you looked at her skin color around her chest and abdomen? I might give you a clue if there is internal damage.

Have you tried touching different/individual parts of her body to see if she has pain in any particular area?

What was her prior food? What is her current food? Do you give her a calcium source?

The skin color around her chest and abdomen seems the normal colour.

I tried touching individual parts of her body but she doesn't react much but when I touch her knees she seemed to pull them a little bit and then again when I try touching her knee, she doesnt react.

Her food prior was vegetables and grains. Her current food now is the commercial chicken feed.

Perhaps her fall didn't cause her current problems but rather, her problems caused her to fall? Perhaps she was already ill prior to the fall from the stairs?
