Hen losing scales

Hello, my Black Cochin Bantam hen, Esther, is losing her foot scales. First, her scales were raised, and I was thinking she had leg mites. I put some leg mite stuff on her feet, but I only put it on her ounce. And now she is losing her scales. Her feet look red and raw. I don't know what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I would put petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on her legs.

I'd try rubbing Olive oil on them to help soften them so they are not so raw prior to putting on Vaseline. The oil will moisturize the skin and the Vaseline will help coat and protect.
