Hen mating like a rooster????

My hens have done this. It’s just them asserting dominance.

I have a hen who does this, but she also crows, exhibits other rooster behaviors and grew a rooster tail! Yet we know for sure she's a hen because we locked her in a kennel by herself and she laid an egg in there! Her eggs never have yolks. Only whites. We were told she may be a gynandromorph, which means she has both male and females features.

I’m going through the same thing! Just posted about it too! My hen.. I know she is a hen, she has been lying for 1.5 years.. recently started mounting my other girls just like roosters do! I’ve read too it’s to show dominance but still quite shocking to see! My girls are submitting to her as well so I guess they have a deal!
