I have two hens in my flock that are missing breast feathers. Right around where their crop would be, or maybe it’s their gizzard. I don’t know, but I probably should. Does not appear to be plucking, picking or irritation. No sign of mites and they are not molting anymore. They have both been like this for a while. I thought it would regrow after their molt. Appreciate your input!

Are the crops empty in the morning before they eat/drink?
What's your roosting bars like?

I would re-check for lice/mites. Watch to see if they are pulling the feathers themselves or excessively preening.

I do not see mites or lice present and these bald spots are only on a couple of my birds. And, I have seen their crops empty.

Roosting bars are 2x4 with wide side up.

Area may be rubbing on roost...those birds may just have 'weaker/brittle' feathers that break easily.
Crop looks rather large, could be pendulous, increasing friction wear.

To know if crop is fully emptying over night, seclude bird in a crate overnight with no water or feed, check it at night then first thing in morning before releasing bird to eat and drink again.

I went out early and they had empty crops this morning.
