Aloha everyone!!!!
... 4 in May (Brahma, Cuckoo Maran, EE- x2), 2 more in late May (RR), 4 in June (Plymouth Rock- x2, EE-x2), 3 in July (Buff Orpington, Black Astrolop, Leghorn), ... yesterday all 13 gave me an egg! The day isn’t over and I got 12 thus far! Prior to this I would get 6-8 eggs each day.
I went into this adventure with no experience but thanks to all of you I made it this far!! I’m so excited! Each day someone comes to my mind & my heart and that’s who I bless with a dozen eggs
*** in my first 4, the 2 EE’s... well I bought 1 advertised as an Ameraucan. you all educated me on that. The other one was a baby chick off the side of the road that we rescued. She’s really small compared to the others but she was the 2nd one to give us an egg. Hers are the dainty white eggs.
