One of my hens, she's 2, is not acting the same. She keeps on closing her eyes and almost falling asleep. Its cold outside today when I saw her do this again. I thought she was just tired. She has no energy. Her waddles and comb are not a red as they used to be. Is something majorly wrong with her and is there a way I can make her better.

Has she molted this fall? Combs/wattles can become pale when not laying or molting. You may want to try to get her drinking water and offer some chopped egg or wet chicken feed, just to see if she will eat or perk up. Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell are excellent to use orally 2-3 ml daily, and contain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Give her an examination, checking her crop to feel if it is hard, soft, empty or balloon-like. Pick her up and feel of her breastbone to see if she has lost weight. Place her in a dog crate on paper towel or an old towel to check droppings for diarrhea or blood. Look her over for mites or lice on her skin under her vent and elsewhere. Worms, mites, coccidiosis, crop problems, or a reproductive disorder such as internal laying are common problems with hens. Let us know what happens.

I don't know if she has stopped laying but she definitely hasn't molted this fall. She normally molts during the spring time. I was able to see if she would eat and she did. I put the feed in some water then let her eat it on her own and she was able too. She hasn't lost any weight as I can fell. But her poop is a green color.

Green poop usually means they have not been eating enough or not at all. It might be good to try feeding and getting her to drink often, to see if she starts to improve. How long since she has laid an egg? Many hens suffer from internal laying or egg yolk peritonitis. There is no cure for that. I would try to rule out mites, and think about worming her with Valbazen or SafeGuard. If you could get a couple of her fresh droppings checked locally by a vet for worms and coccidiosis, that would narrow it down. Let us know how she gets along.

That sounds good Egg... can also mean food is moving through too fast from inflammation... might be internal parasites as mentioned.
