HEN NOT LAYING AGAIN!

I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on a problem that i seem to have with one of my hens. When i first got her she was laying eggs but she was straining an laying them with some blood. Then a few wks later she got sick and stopped laying eggs she did not want to move or eat. Then she got better and started laying eggs again and eating and moving around. But recently she has stopped laying although so far she is still eating and moving around. Can anyone tell me what is going on??

If she is still healthy other wise, a stop in eggs isn't a bad thing. Often they stop to rest their bodies, to change their feathers, or due to short day light hours.

The first time was probably some other issue and she got sick, and a sick body can't lay well. Since she is other wise fine now, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
