hen on roost all day

I have a hen that has set on the roost all day could she be sick?

Might be - sounds like SOMETHING is wrong. Have you tried taking her off the roost to see what she does? She may have done something like hurt a leg from the previous day and she's "afraid" to jump down because she knows it will hurt. Any other symptoms? Look at the "sticky" post at the top of the page - it has a list of questions that might help with diagnosis.
