Hen only hatching 1 egg?

Hi guys, I have a pekin bantam who has been sitting for about a week. I checked today to see how many eggs she had and there is only 1. She only laid every other day. My other hens are big red hens and my rooster is a pekin bantam so not sure if they even would have fertilised eggs to give her and if that would work having different chicks. Is this a good thing or will the chick if it hatches be lonely??

Too late to add eggs now if she has been setting a week. Hopefully the egg is fertile. Chick will be fine, mother will be 'nervous as a hen with one chick'. Old time saying.

I've had one lone chick before. It wasn't ideal but there wasn't anything I could do. She seemed fine. She is making friends in my flock now.
There isn't much you can do now, unless you wanted to try getting day old chicks on the day that the chick hatches. Not guaranteed to work, but it could. I certainly wouldn't add more eggs at this point.

Not a great source for assistance. I'm sort of 'old school' survival of the fittest.
