This is an 8 week old EE.
it is feathering so slowly. Im not sure if that means boy or just a really slow lady. The others from the same batch are fully feathered. This one has a bald back, shoulders, and hardly any tail. other Roosters I have picked out by 4 weeks so this makes me think hen but I thought I would let the masses weigh in 😊
Thanks!!!!!

If the two in the second picture are the same age, then I think they are the same gender as well. Probably pullets--going by what I can see of comb and wattles.

Slow feathering can happen in either gender. The slowest one I ever had was definitely a pullet (grew into a hen that laid eggs, so no question at all about that.)

Good to know! Thanks for the reply! I wouldn’t have been sad for an accidental EE roo.

Looks like a Hen to me, I have EE's & EE mix, 3 hens & 1 rooster & I also have 4 sikies
