I have 3 Easter Eggers that all arrived together as day old chicks. Two are doing submissive squat, laying eggs at just 19 weeks! The third bullies some of the other hens, does not do any submissive squatting, does not crow, and looks the same as the others in terms of leg size, height, feather patterns. Hen or roo?

Is the only reason you think it’s male is the fact that it doesn’t lay eggs yet?

Some lay later…but she has no saddle feathers, nor a large comb, so she is a female :)
