10 week old Jersey Giant. We originally thought it was a cockerel, but now not so sure. I have included a photo at 5 weeks old. Thoughts? šŸ¤”

That's a cockerel.

Here's a picture of mine 18 weeks old and just started crowing yesterday.

Ok, that's what we thought. The only things throwing me off were the saddle and hackle feathers. I thought they were supposed to be more pointed?

He's still a bit young for the male specific feathers, just yet. Those typically don't start to come in until at least 12 weeks old.

Ok, I'll be on the lookout in the next several weeks. You've been super helpful. Thank you!
