Had my broody Birchen Marans hatch out some Ameraucanas 2 months ago....I am certain of the sex for 4 of the 6 but 2 remain.... can you help?

The second is a splash....really don't know.

How do you know they are EE's? I purchased fertilized Ameraucana eggs....However, I realize that not everyone knows the difference....especially since I am one of them!

True Ameraucanas only come in 8 colors described in the breed standard. Most hatcheries sell "Ameraucanas" that are not purebred and do not adhere to the breed standard, so are considered Easter Eggers, but the hatcheries still call them Ameraucanas. People use EE to describe any cross that has some Ameraucana traits, but specifically the gene for blue/green eggs.

Thank you Donna! Are you fairly certain the black and white is indeed a pullet? I have so many roos....would love to actually have a laying hen!

Pretty certain. I usually see roos that are black and white, but she looks like a pullet!
