6-8 weeks is generally the time when they are all feathered in, and the cockerels begin showing signs of being male. It varies breed to breed(I have a Japanese bantam who's comb reddened at 2 weeks, and others can take months until tou can for sure tell), but 6-8 weeks is the best time to guess.
