hi what do people more knowledgeable than me think. It’s a 12 week blue australorp. Hen or roo?

Can you get a side pic of the saddle feathers? It's looking kind of rooish to me. Pretty red comb and wattles too.

I can't see well in the dark photo either, even on enlargement.

For 12 weeks of age, that is a lot of comb and wattles. Generally that indicates roo.

Saddle feathers likely are not showing yet as often they don't turn up until 4 to 6 months of age, depending on the breed.

So right now, I am leaning to rooster. Another couple of weeks should tell more.

I may be wrong, but are you sure that that chicken is 12 weeks? Its body looks much more mature, like that of a hen
