Hen or Roo?

Hi, I recently got a white leghorn and I was wondering if it looks more like a roo or a hen. Thanks!

way too soon to tell, especially because both male and female leghorns have large combs. Please wait until 6 weeks at the earliest.

Thank you! I saw that little comb pop up and wasn’t sure if that meant a roo already

If it's truly pink and that's not just a trick of the photo, that's a male. Female Leghorns do get massive floppy combs, but even then a pullet shouldn't pink up under 6 weeks, that's super young.

I second this. My Leghorns were significantly older before their combs began to pink up.
