Hen or Roo?

About a 13 week old Easter Egger...has crowed a few times, but not everyday.

How can you tell with them? I have another one in the brooder room....this is my 5th attempt at getting an Easter egger hen.

Thanks, sometimes they fight....but I know Calicos are supposed to be auto sexed, so I just wanted to make sure.

You said that he crowed. That means he is almost definitely a cockerel. And that is a very big and bright comb for an EE of that age. The picture makes the feathers hard to see but from what I can see the saddle and tail feathers look masculine. The crowing is the biggest cue though. Makes it almost 100% a cockerel.

Brown one is definitely a hen. The other one that's crowing is definitely a roo.
