Hello, I am new to this site. I recently received these 4 chicks. Ibelieve they are 6 weeks old. I think I may have one rooster but I am not sure! I was told the two are wyandottes but not sure about the two darker ones. The one dark one is the one I think might be a roo.
Thank you for any help!!

I agree with Rhodebar Lover. The laced birds have single combs, and in one picture I think I see a feathered foot sticking out from under one of them behind one of the Blues. Pretty sure they are Gold Laced Cochins, and the Blues obviously are Blue Cochins.

It looks like some of them have some feather picking damage going on, just so you are aware! As long as you're giving them plenty of space and things to do, they should heal and regrow feathers, but you should keep an eye on those spots for any injuries forming just in case.

Oh, and welcome to BYC! :frow

Thank you for the information! I just got them a few days ago, I did notice that on two of them that they are missing some feathers. It seems that are only missing them under thier wing areas? I wasn’t sure if that was normal or not. Would that be from others pecking at them or them pecking it themselves? They have a big coop inside a big run so lots of room for them now but, not sure what their living conditions were before this. I also got them a dust bath and put some diatomaceous earth In it with sandy drit I read online that could help. Any other tips? Thank you!
