I have zero silkies, so this is a guess. I'm thinking cockerel because of the crest. But I can totally see why you are hoping pullet

Hmmm. Crest whispers male, but I see almost no comb at all, which shouts female

Looks pullet-ish to me. The crest is funky, but my hatchery Silkie hen has a funky crest.
