Rooster!Hen or Roo. Now 9 weeks old but looks more like my 12 week old hens.
Hello!
That’s a cockerel. I’m guessing it’s a buff Orpington? Males of this breed typically take longer to grow tails than females at an early age.![]()
Rooster!
Bummer, he's very quiet and unlike the Roo that i already have. Got 1 roo in a bunch that i got from tractor supply & he started crowing at 4 weeks old & ids beautiful but very protective of his girls already. I can pick him up if i can catch him but he is quick. I will have to see about their personalities over the next few weeks. I have 13, 4 older girls and 9 younger!Yes, looks like a cockerel.
I also have 13, five Australorps ( two Roos and three hens, two EEs ( hen and sex undetermined) , four Silkies (sex undetermined) , one French Copper Maran ( sex undetermined), and one RIR x Bantam ( hen ).Bummer, he's very quiet and unlike the Roo that i already have.
