2 weeks (I think) midnight majesty maran - what are we thinking? Too early? This one’s comb is already bigger than the other one I got from the same bin. Bigger than the other 2 cinnamon queens too.

Could just be the stage of development it's in giving a false impression, but also feel cockerel vibes.

It does gives off the stance of a cockerel, but I have had many that look like them (show red combs and waddles early), but after 4 weeks no more and they start to look more and more like hens lol.

I'd say give it to week 3/4 and you'll know more with marans. But they both look like great little birds!
