Hen or Roo

Here are my chicks from Lisa and I am wondering if anyone can tell me if they are hens or roos, they are 1 month old and are silkie/frizzle/cochin.

I hope that this works when I post the pictures if not I will try again.

They look like roos to me.

Oh please not all of them I was kind of hoping that at least number 1 and number 2 were hens. I so want a frizzle baby. I have a number 7 which is definitely hen but she is handicapped and not frizzled.

I have some silver penciled cochins about 13 weeks old.

Here's a pic of one pullet,
it's not a close up but she does have very little comb,

I'll get a good close up tomorrow and re-post.

Your number one looks exactyly like my Baby (See Gender/breed??????????? post on here from a few days ago) I have almost come to terms with the fact that Baby may be a he, but I will wait until he starts crowing before I throw in the towel. Good look!

BTW, how old do you think they are?? Baby's comb and wattles look like that now but she is about 7 weeks or so and looks way more developed then those pics. Suz

Gosh, to me, I would have thought the first two look possibly hennish; the rest do look like they have awfully pinky combs to be girls, but I don't have experience with that particular breed, either.

I think the first looks like a hen.
