Hen or rooster?

We found this beautiful chicken walking down the street. He/she is gorgeous -- black with white spots, very long tail, small red comb. Very sweet and docile. Does anyone know if this is a rooster or a pullet? What breed is he/she? I have a flock with one silkie rooster. If it's a hen, I'd like to add her to my flock. But I'm afraid to add him/her if he's a rooster, for fear my rooster will kill the baby. Advice? Info? Thankyou.

100% Rooster, you can tell by the saddle feathers and extra long tail. Breed, I'd say is MAYBE a lakenvelder cross between something else as well? Apologies, guessing breeds isn't a strong suit with chickens! Have a great day!

I've got a roo that I can trust with any birds on the property here and I've have some that need to stay in confinement until they get to freezer camp. Their mission in like was to kill any competitor.

I don't know exactly what breed, but with the maturity he shows and his current size I would guess him to be a bantam. He won't be a whole lot bigger than your silkies.
