I have a black sex link who is about 8 mths old now. Stopped laying. Other hens have isolated her. So, I isolated her too. Then noticed she wasn't laying. And last night as we were hooking up the heater in there house it sneezed. I've been told to use apple cider vinegar in their (all of them) water.
Will this help? How long do I wait for it to get better or not?

Has anyone helped you with this problem? I would just try to make sure the chicken is drinking and eating and warm. Do you think she might be egg bound? A warm bath might help with that. Also keep her in the dark and quiet.

if you just heard her sneeze once, it may be nothing. but if she has discharge or isn't eating... thats something. ACV in the water can't hurt, might help.

I don't know what egg bound is. Is an egg stuck inside them?? She eats and drinks and poop looks normal. She just isn't laying. Her nostrils were a little damp but no type of "discharge" that was noticeable. I dont know if I shouldput her back with the other girls or keep her in her own cage. All the others are still laying. they all are in the same house just using a cage to isolate the one chicken so its not in contact with the others.

How is your hen doing? Have you tried to feel the abdomin? Does it feel like she has an egg size lump in there? If she is still eating and drinking that is good. I would keep her apart from the others if they are picking on her.

When A couple of my hens started sneezing I put some VETrx in a spray bottle with warm water sprayed all my hens got under their wings and on as much of them as I could. Did it for 3 nights. Sneezing gone. Oh I also put a few drops in their water.
