Hi Ya'll! So I have obviously a massive workload in my chickens. They are roundworms. She pooed and literally it was a group of 2 inch roundworms wiggling.

I am scarred for life on this. Ugh!

Question is since it is a heavy wormload how do I safely kill them without killing my chickens(20 of them)? I know the die off can take the chicken out.
I love these guys. I knew how to do this before when wazine was around but now I am freaking out.

Any help on the best way would be awesome. Yes I went through the threads for the last hour but did not get a good answer.

Thank you a million times! Now I am going to go throw up again! LOL

You can use Safeguard liquid goat dewormer. Dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight, given orally once, then repeat in 10 days.

Valbazen can also be used. Dose is 0.08ml per pound of weight, given orally once, then repeated in 10 days.

Wazine has been off the market for several years now.
I thought Wazine needed to be given to stun and not kill a heavy load first so they poo a bunch out to avoid die off toxicity. Should I worry about that?

I'm a Valbazen convert. You can use it even when the chickens are molting (unlike safeguard) and it's slower acting (starving the worms over a day or two) so you hopefully won't get a worm blockage.
