Hi everyone if someone could reply soon as possible that would be ideal this morning i found my hen pooping yellow it looks like egg will she be okay these are the photos.

She has been acting normal what do I do. She is 7 months old. Her crop emptied this morning.

Are we talking a shell-less egg, or are you seeing bits of shell at all?

Ok. Then get calcium in her. You can give her a tums, a calcium tablet (like for people), or calcium gluconate. What do you have on hand?

Sounds like she's a new layer. Sometimes there are glitches that clear up with time. Sometimes you end up with a chicken who just needs more calcium than others. Does she have calcium/oyster available at all times? And is she on layer feed? Has she laid other soft or weak shelled eggs?

Sorry for the million questions. Just want to make sure I give you the right advice.

She has never laid soft eggs before and she does have calcium on hand but i limited her because her eggs would start to come out lumpy.

Ok. You'll need to buy calcium asap. That will help her push put the egg. She might need antibiotics, too, especially if she can't expel all of the egg material.

When you say lumpy, do you mean with excess calcium deposits or misshapen?
