Hen quit laying

So, one of my hens that normally is an every day layer hasn’t laid an egg in two or three days (they’re all cinnamon queens just under a year old). None of my chickens are acting like they are egg bound, and I checked their vents and everything looks normal. Does that happen sometimes? Or should I be worried? Everything I’ve read says if they are egg bound they could die because it could get serious. I can’t tell which hen it is, because all their eggs look the same. I have 4 that are laying and I’ve only been getting 3 eggs a day.
I live in Texas and the weather is beginning to go from the heat of summer to cooler weather, so I dk if that plays into it.

any help is appreciated!

Even the most overachieving daily layers need a break sometimes. With four layers, and three eggs a day, I’d say you’re in good shape.
That said, if you notice a particular hen not laying for an extended period, then it’s time to look at symptoms and circumstance.
Quite a few things can take them out of lay...
A change
A scare
Parasites
Molt

But it doesn’t sound like you should worry yet.

Be sure to do a quick visual check each day for comb and wattle color and brightness, crops being empty in the morning, and eating and drinking normally. These things say a lot.
