So I noticed Serena shuffling around 3 days ago. I bought her inside and put her in quarantine and administered nutridench. Vit E and Molassas (as we'd had another hen with botulism recently) No improvement. Couldn't feel an egg though she is a good layer. She was barely able to shuffle at this point, just sits there, eats and drinks well and is 'alert' But she did poop out a lot of roundworms so I gave her Wazine the next day. Still no improvement after 24 hours the vet told me to administer Vitamin B injections. Which I did. Now day 4 and no improvement, not trying to stand, can use her legs, when I pick her up she is "running" furiously but cant lift up her weight when I put her down.
She is a California White. 9 months old. feeling thinner now
I did have 2 Polish around 6 months ago die from similar symptoms. No bleeding, fracture or injury that I can see.
Poop now green and liquidy.
