My most consistently healthy hen got sick and died suddenly today. She is the third of my golden comet flock that has died in the last 2 months :( My flock is three years old and the sickness and death has really concerned me. She was happy and healthy before the tropical storm hitting yesterday. I am in NC so it wasn't bad just some wind and rain. My dad woke up this morning and saw she was looking sick and by the time I woke up later that day she died. The other chickens weren't phased by her death or even stressed and they aren't showing signs of sickness. What should I do and why did this happen?

Did you check and see if her back end was gunked up?
Production hens seem not to be long lived, and are prone to getting egg bound. This is due to being breed to lay lots of large size eggs beginning early. Over time the egg passage tubes are stretched, leading to a blockage of sorts through the tubes. This kills the hen.
Almost every production red hen I have had has died in this way.
It's a shame as these hens are mostly sweet tempered and friendly.
Now this is only one possiblity, others may chime in with other possible explanations.
Sorry for your loss.
