Hen squatting and straining! Egg bound?

My BO hen is squatting all puffed up and straining. Egg bound? Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks

if shes is egg bound you should be able to tell by looking at her back side and softly feeling the back end you should be able to feel the egg. if she is take her to your bath tub and with warm water hold her over the tub or put her bum in the warm water for awhile. that should help. good luck

She is straining and she has lost all her feathers under her bum and around it. I can see her rear end but not an egg. I will try the bath tub trick when I get home. Thanks!
