Ok so now what should I do, I have a hen and I have posted about her before. She is about 8months old?? (rescue)She has laid a hard and soft egg together at the same time. I have given her oyster shells, flock block(block with feed and vitamins, and oyster shell). She is still laying a hard and a soft egg.. She is a buff and she looks otherwise healthy, not loosing feathers or discoloration on her comb. So what do you all think?? I did look at the links for the vet's web site with info and the natural bird feed site and really did not find the answer I was looking for. She is the only one at this time that is laying since my others are too young, so I know she is the culprit. Help!!
I have a hen that lays shell-less eggs often. Its a bummer but she seems healthy other wise.
As long as she isn't getting egg stuck all over herself I wouldn't worry.
