My 4 year old speckled sussex, Boudicca seems to have developed a eating problem..She drink some water, but when she try to eat ,she looks like she is shocking. She gasp for air, and shake her head..Also she has liquids coming out of her beak when she bend down..That makes her jump..I have felt her crop, and it totally empty morning and evening..No bad smell from her beak..But I spotted some hard offwhite stuff coming out of her nostrills..She just stands around and are lethargic most of the time..Ohhh, and also she breaths funny, like a balloon letting air in and out..Hmm I m pussled? Does anyone know what could be wrong with her? Pls help x

When was her last egg, any bloat or feeling of fluid in the abdomen below the vent between her legs?

If you see something in her nostrils, can you look inside the beak for any lesions or canker?

Photos of her, her nostrils and her poop would be good to see as well.

I'm wondering if, with the breathing issue and shaking of the head, she could have a type of respiratory or sinus infection, or both, and the hard, off-white substance coming out of her nostril, which would usually be loose, might indicate that she has had it for a while.

Any other cold-like symptoms?

If I were leaning this direction with mine, I'd give a vitamin boost to help them fight whatever infections they may have. We use Poultry Cell or Nutri-Drench in their drinking water, but any poultry vitamin product you have there should work.
