Hen stopped laying eggs....help?

Okay, so we thought my hen was just sitting on some eggs, and maybe that was why she wasn't leaving her house. Today we went into the coop to feed and water, and she wasn't sitting on anything! What could make a hen just stop laying and never leave her house? She isn't hurt, she let us pet her and pick her up, she seems to be okay...

Check and see if she is eggbound - you can feel it pretty easily. If not then she is probably getting ready to go broody.
