hen strutting with the big boys!

hey there,
so my big tom Crash has been strutting for the girls since he got here in July. we've got a young tom who started strutting a couple of weeks ago. this morning they were both out there showing off, and Crash was strutting double-wide, I think as a response to the young tom's strutting. and then my RP hen decided to strut too... full tail display, wings dropped and all.

what is that? just decided to hang with the guys? is that normal?

yes, she's definitely a hen.

these are my first turkeys, so I'm still learning... what's with the hen-strut?

My 4 hens got into it with my Rooster and when he finally (pretty docile roo) fought back they acted all suprised and started strutting.

No damage to any birds, well maybe then hen's ego.

It's a pecking order thing. My hens strut to advertise their dominance too.
