Hen that has a deformed egg and uterus? or something hanging out

Hi. We have a wonderful friendly hen who has something seriously wrong with her. We noticed a couple of hours ago that she has a deformed egg and what we believe is her uterous or something else the egg is attached to hanging out of her. Is there anything we can do for her? Thanks

Is it prolapsed?

make up some sterile saline (1/4 tsp salt boiled five minutes in a quart of water and cool) flush the area with that (keep doing this till everything is off the prolapse) once you are sure is clean then apply some KYgel (lubrication) and reinsert the prolapse. You can also smear some prep H around the vent . Keep the bird in a quiet dark place and if necessary repeat.
