Still no eggs , but Bessie ( the barnervelder) has stopped attempting to crow. A local expert told me that ü should have a minimum if 3 birds so they have a flock culture. His suggestion was that because each of my girls is of a different breed they do not feel as though they are a "family flock". And live as individuals. Hmmm
