So this hen is about 9 weeks old and ive been expecting eggs for a while but nothing, i dont know of some hens go through tougher laying seasions specially first timers but is this what she is trying to do? Lay her first?

Or is this something else entirely? Ahe been at it for a while 20 - 30 minutes maybe, nothing to worry about, they are all healthy in this pen

Can you take a video, upload it to YouTube or something and post a link?
Has she been getting enough calcium?
Is she eating/drinking?
Is she pooping?
Does her poop look normal?
What are you feeding her?

Apparently i posted duplicate threads by mistake and didnt realize it till now... Sorry for late reply and double post but here is a video.

@Nabiki

Would you answer the rest of the questions I asked? It definitely looks like something is wrong, but it could be any number of things.

Sorry for the late reply, i was caught up in some errands, didnt even see the questions toll now.

She was doing it yesterday for like 3-4 hours or so but this morning she seems fine back to normal.

I was feeding them chick starter until about 4 days ago and now im feeding layer feed, i put oyster shells on the side but they mostly ignored and pooped in it so i removed it, but maybe i should put it back?

She wasnt eating, drinking or pooping for those couple of hours she was mostly doing that in a corner, refused to move anywhere else, but before those couple of hours everything was normal.

Maybe i was worried for no reason, but no eggs came out of her and it has been almost 1 day since that happened, the only thing that is different now is i changed their feed to layer about 3-4 days ago, before that it was chick starter for all those 9 weeks

Oh snap, i thought i could feed this until they were 6-10 weeks old till they start laying, i have attached the images of what o was feesing and what i now feed them, so i should change to game bird feed? The layer feed qont suffice? 16%.

Oh my, i appreciate the help i was under the impression that when they are adults they could just consume layer feed, could i mix gamebird feed and layer feed and just give them that?

You could just feed the 20% protein if you can not find 24% protein, I think Dumor makes a 24% meatbird ration. Should be a gamebird feed and not a chicken feed.

Ok i will do that, if i mix 30% game bird with layer one will that be ok? No downsides?
